Yeah, a third healer might not be a bad idea. I'll take a closer look at the combat stats tomorrow when I have more time. I know I took unnecessary damage.

Phase 3 is hard to evaluate with raw data because it's so hectic. It's more about the execution. (placement of ice tombs, ranged staying grouped up to make the ice tomb placement easier, keeping her placement in such a way that it doesn't make it difficult for ranged to do that etc.) The ice tombs need to stay up long enough for the debuff stacks to fall off (which is mostly difficult for tanks because we have to run the farthest when it's time for us to drop them), but not a moment longer (especially if it's a healer tombed).

Things we can work on is lowering damage and deaths in P1 and 2 so that the healers can go balls out in P3 (again especially critical if one of them gets tombed).

So with that in mind, I can talk about some avoidable damage we're taking in those first 2 phases that we shouldn't be.
Tail Swipe:
http://www.wowmeteronline.com/combat/ab ... il%20Smash
All the melee are getting hit by this around 4 times per encounter so it may be that it's not completely avoidable when slight boss movement happens, but if you're noticeably higher than this you're probably too far to the rear of her. Try to stay more to the side. 4 times seems high as a baseline too though, so it's possible we're ALL in the wrong position and need to be more to the side.

Blistering Cold (This is the explosion ability after we get pulled to the middle):
http://www.wowmeteronline.com/combat/ab ... ing%20Cold
The only people to never get hit by this were Mike, Jason and Lisa. Good job for them, but the rest of us need to make sure that we're avoiding that. I know the two I took were when I was tanking her and she got too far out onto that platform and I had nowhere to go. Better positioning by Derek and I should eliminate those for both of us unless there's something else that was causing him to get hit. (Having her in the middle facing east/west the last time we tried her was much better for this. Much more room to maneuver as a tank, and I think for everyone else too.) For everyone else we need to work on this (some more than others obviously). If this is a lag issue that can be helped with something like changing spell detail you need to do that, even if just for this fight. If it's just executing the run fast enough you're going to need to practice. There's really not any other way for people to help with this other than blowing cooldowns we need in phase 3. For those getting hit a lot by this, I don't know that there's much in the way of advice we can give to help other than don't keyboard turn and don't hesitate, but if you have any questions or info on why you're getting hit with it that we may be able to help with, feel free to ask/comment. Overall this is where I think we can eliminate those lost battle rezes, bubbles and whatnot that we could be using in P3. We need to get those numbers as close to zeros across the board as possible.

Frost Bomb (This is the ability in the air phase we need to LoS with the frost tombs):
http://www.wowmeteronline.com/combat/ab ... ost%20Bomb
This is one that's tough as people can get hit by this through no fault of their own (IE someone doesn't stop DPS on a tomb when they should and everyone behind that tomb gets hit), but even still there's people getting hit by this too often. I tried to mark Derek so that people having trouble could stand on top of him, but DBM uses so many marks in this fight it just gets overwritten. Him and Jason look like our best two people at avoiding it. DPS on the tombs isn't a big deal since we want to keep it low enough for them to survive all 4 bombs and tossing out a heal only to get hit by a bomb just isn't likely to be worth it, so if you have trouble avoiding these look for them even if it costs you a couple seconds.

During every air phase I mark myself. Just follow me and you won't get hit.... unless someone breaks the tomb I'm standing on. People will sometimes run a little too far back to the wall and can't get into position 'cause they're too far away.

Site is off Dan. I know for a solid fact I only got hit by Blistering Cold twice the whole night. That thing is saying I got hit 9 times? No way in hell. Unless it's counting transferred damage from Divine Sacrifice, as I always try to throw it up when it's off cooldown.

Ah yeah, those were probably getting recorded as having "hit" you in the combat log.

To actually add something to the convo.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5uss4YReRQ

Also if you're a healer and thinking I'm getting too cocky with Divine Sac and Hand of Sac, please say something. I take a lot of damage this fight; I'm not sure if I'm making it harder on you or not. I was thinking it was saving lives, but I drop pretty low if three or four people are hit by the AoE. And in phase three I can't use Divine Sacrifice or it's Ardent Defender, so everyone needs to avoid it at that point.

I can take criticism and not get angry so if I'm making it harder on you guys, speak up.

Nah, you're usually not a problem. The only difficult part is if we have to go out of range for a time, but usually the HoTs can keep you going.

Looks like a great strategy. I'm liking this more than my proposed plan of attack.

That's gotta be one of the best strat videos I've ever seen. Don't even need actual video of the fight. And yes; that plan is win, I think.

Also just to add unless tail smash doesnt knock you back all the time I only remember getting knocked back once maybe twice in all the attempts not 47 times. Was shocked to see that I would've been flying the entire fight doing next to no dps lol.

Since this basically turned into a Sindragosa discussion, I figured I'd post this here. Our only successful attempt on Sindy tonight wasn't caring about ice blocks. We had one tank, two healers, the rest DPS. During phase 3, only the "Off Tank" playing DPS would DPS the ice blocks. Everyone just stayed on the boss and didn't switch to anything. My groups DPS wasn't amazing, I was top at 8 ~ 10 k mostly, the rest were around 5~7. This worked a million times better than the "DPS the blcoks down" method.
